Verner G. Hurt Research and Extension Building

The Verner G. Hurt Research and Extension building was built in 2012 and was named in honor of Dr. Verner Hurt for his more than four decades of service to MSU. He served as director of the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, professor of agricultural economics, and head of that department. The Hurt Building contains more than 19,000 square feet of office and research space and contains 2,000 square feet of library space.
